Bill Streetman, a 54-year-old who once weighed 404 pounds, underwent Roux-en-Y (RNY) gastric bypass surgery with Dr. Sabir at Ascension Health in Southfield, MI, and now weighs 170 pounds; he is a board member of the Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America, founder and rider of the Tour of Hope Bike Ride to Defeat Obesity, the 2017 USA Male BariAthlete of the Year, and a speaker, lecturer, and author on weight loss surgery and lifestyle transition, happily married to Colleen with three grown sons (Andrew, Terry, and Tom) and a cat named Skye.
